25.04.09 IPL Linfield 2 Distllery 0
Glens won 2-1 at Coleraine though, which brings it down to the last game. Glentoran not winning at home to a team that will be weakened and taking it easy for the Cup Final the week after? Only ourselves to blame...

FLAT
18.04.09 Linfield 2 Cliftonville 2
The clip doesn't even show Carvill hitting the post and Curran blazing over from 6 yards in injury time. But we didn't deserve to win, it was all so flat, from fans and players, meaning we fail to capitalise on the Glens drawing 3-3 at home to the Whites. That was our last chance, I fear.

Updates
10.04.09 IPL Glentoran 1-1 Linfield
Watched this on Sky, Blues controlled the game, led through Munster, were a bit wasteful in attack, then Jeffrey, tactical genius that he isn't, takes off both our target men, sits back and invites the on-the-rack Glens to come at us. Leading to the inevitable late equaliser and the Gibson Cup destiny back in the Glens' hands. Raging.
14.04.09 IPL Coleraine 1-2 Linfield
We arrived 40 minutes late due the VERY late departure of the Raven fun bus :( Blues played well and controlled things, but again sat off near the end. Glens got a vital win at Seaview, looking good for them. Great day out, always good crack with the Raven boys. Standings:
1 Glentoran 35 74
2 Linfield 35 73
